John Leishman, CEO and owner of Tursa Group, a BPO company, provides insights on the type of bookkeepers they sent out to their clients.
Are your bookkeepers qualified to do the job?
“Absolutely, they are. We have bookkeepers with 20+ experience that are looking for part time work. We also have some very senior CPA’s and CAA’s that can do more complicated reporting. And some of the remote agents that we have in our database, they are older like in their 50’s or 60’s and done bookkeeping their entire career and they’ve tried to retire but just find they need some other way to fill their time, they want to work 4 hours a day. I mean the bookkeeper working in my company, he has actually worked in multi-hundred million dollar companies and had up to 30 CPA’s reporting to him so there’s a very highly experienced remote agent out there.
And another example is we are talking to a CAA in Argentina. She’s from Winnipeg in Canada, she’s a chartered account and she was looking for work as a virtual CFO. So the quality of the bookkeepers is really good.”
