In this video, Julie-Anne De Jong of De Jong & Festa Electric Ltd. explained her experience in working with a remote agent from Tursa Group.
So Julie-Anne, you hired a remote agent to help you out with training with your new simPro software. Can you tell me a little bit about that experience?
Yes. We found one of the software that we were using, there wasn’t enough training videos on there to learn how to actually implement the software. So we used the placement to create videos for us to learn how to use the software. So then she created all these videos where we could just watch her, you know, do what we need to do and then we could do it on our own company website. And it’s a project management website so we create all of our quotes. So she made about 65 videos on training.
And she was obviously working virtually for you. Did you find that it was difficult to work with somebody who wasn’t physically inside your office?
No. Like, I talk to her every day on Google Chat. We were able to communicate through there. We would send each other messages on end of day reports. It was pretty easy just to talk to her via Google Chat.
And how long did it take? I mean was it something that as far as the time estimate that was given for how long it will take to complete the videos, was it something that was completed on time or did it go over or under?
No. It was almost on time. It was actually about 4 days earlier, I think, than the estimated time that they expected it to be done. So, yeah. She completed everything pretty much just a little bit early than what was expected. And it was all perfect, all complete.
