Working with A Remote Agent

In this video, Julie-Anne De Jong of De Jong & Festa Electric Ltd. explained her experience in working with a remote agent from Tursa Group.

CARLY:

So Julie-Anne, you hired a remote agent to help you out with training with your new simPro software. Can you tell me a little bit about that experience?

JULIE-ANNE:

Yes. We found one of the software that we were using, there wasn’t enough training videos on there to learn how to actually implement the software. So we used the placement to create videos for us to learn how to use the software. So then she created all these videos where we could just watch her, you know, do what we need to do and then we could do it on our own company website. And it’s a project management website so we create all of our quotes. So she made about 65 videos on training.

CARLY:

And she was obviously working virtually for you. Did you find that it was difficult to work with somebody who wasn’t physically inside your office?

JULIE-ANNE:

No. Like, I talk to her every day on Google Chat. We were able to communicate through there. We would send each other messages on end of day reports. It was pretty easy just to talk to her via Google Chat.

CARLY:

And how long did it take? I mean was it something that as far as the time estimate that was given for how long it will take to complete the videos, was it something that was completed on time or did it go over or under?

JULIE-ANNE:

No. It was almost on time. It was actually about 4 days earlier, I think, than the estimated time that they expected it to be done. So, yeah. She completed everything pretty much just a little bit early than what was expected. And it was all perfect, all complete.

CARLY:

Great! Thanks Julie-Anne.

The Costs of Switching to Google Apps

In this video, Julie-Anne De Jong of De Jong & Festa Electric Ltd. provides proof that switching to Google Apps is a cost-effective process that businesses will surely benefit from.

CARLY:

A lot of people usually want to know how much does it cost to switch over to Google apps. So would you say that the cost was an investment? Was it worth the money? And has it saved you any money for your business since you started using it?

JULIE-ANNE:

I would say it’s definitely worth the money. Just with the support system that you have from Geeks On The Way, from Tursa Group, from, like, our phone system — the support system that is offered is more worthwhile, like, to spend the money to do so.

CARLY:

Great! Yeah, that’s great. Thanks Julie-Anne.

Why Should You Switch to Google Apps Now

In this video, Julie-Anne De Jong of DeJong & Festa Electric Ltd. provides insights on how she personally has switched to Google Apps.

CARLY:

What would you say the most difficult part about converting to Google Apps?

JULIE-ANNE:

Well I don’t think it was very difficult at all for me. I pretty much got on it right away, start using the — as soon as I learned what it had to offer, the Google Docs and stuff, it took me a little bit but I don’t think it was hard at all. It was pretty straight forward and if I had any question, I could just Google chat with somebody right away and if they’re working, they tell me right away, you know, answer my question and I just go on with my day and pretty straight forward.

JULIE-ANNE:

Great. Thank you.

What Can Virtual Assistants Do For Your Business?

Are you a small business owner who’s working or spending too much time in your business instead of on your business? If so, then we have a solution for you. My name is John Leishman. I have employed virtual assistants and remote agents for over 8 years now very successfully.

Virtual assistants and remote agents can take care of all the back office administration and business process outsourcing tasks of your organization. They can also do all the phone interaction with your clients, all the email interaction, the chat interaction on your website. There’s a lot of things that can be done without actually having staff in the office.

Why would you do this? Well, there’s a couple of reasons. One is you get access to a talent pool outside your geography. The second one is there could be significant cost savings.

Please fill out the email form on this web page or give us a call and we’ll offer you a free consultation on how we can help alleviate you and your staff on the burden of administration tasks in your organization and free you up to start working on growing your business on proactive strategic sales.

What Jobs Can Virtual Assistants Perform And How Can They Help You Grow Your Business?

Are you a small business owner spending too much time working in your business instead of on your business? I’ve ran successful companies for the last 20 years. And I’ve deployed virtual assistants and remote agents in 8 of my last 20 years of being in business successfully.

We have access to a large pool of Canadian and American virtual assistants and remote agents that live in low-cost geographies such as in Mexico. And they can perform a whole variety of tasks. 50% of work in your organization can be done remotely – whether it’s bookkeeping, data entry work, social media, phone answering, outbound phone calls – and so what we do is we leverage Canadians and Americans living in Mexico, Central America and South America and we deploy them into organizations throughout the US and Canada.

We’ve already done this successfully. I’ve done it successfully in my own business process outsourcing organization. So, when someone receives inbound calls, we can set appointments for you. What this does is it simply breezes you up to work on generating revenue for your business and doing other tasks that are required to help you grow your business beyond what it is now. And then as you grow your business, you simply can hire more virtual assistants and remote agents to perform all the back office and business process outsourcing tasks that are required when you generate new clients.

So if you’d like to look at more information or a free consultation, please fill out the email form on our page here or call the phone number and we’ll be happy to talk with you and see how we can help you out.
