Remote Computer Technician

We are seeking a Junior remote support technician to join our team. 

These are work from home positions, servicing our residential, Contract and Corporate remote support clientele and staff. The applicant must have a home desktop computer with Valid MS Operating system, a minimum of two monitors, high speed internet,  and a quiet place to work. 

 

We require the applicant to have fluent oral and written English. The successful candidate must have great customer service skills, a friendly and professional attitude, and must be able to work well both with a team and unsupervised.

 

This schedule will likely be Monday to Friday,  standard Canadian Time zones, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm MT with a one hour lunch hour (8 hour daily shift), but applicants must be flexible on week day shifts. We have project work that is done on weekends occasionally, and a rotational on-call weekend schedule.

 

Experience with PC and peripheral installations and configurations (standalone or networked) and Virus/Spyware/Adware and Malware required.  Must have extensive knowledge of troubleshooting: Windows 10 and 11, and Microsoft Office applications as well as experience with Windows Server 2012 and up to present day,  various networking and application software. Additional experience with Apple Products, PBX, Linux, Exchange, EC2 Instances, Google Apps, Ubuntu, MDM, and Office 365 experience is also an asset. 

 

This is a contract position, we do not withhold any taxes. We do however reimburse you for your USB headset, VOIP phone, monthly internet costs, and UPS. The wage for this position is $30,000.00 MXN/month, with an increase after 3 months. At that time we also will purchase a computer and additional equipment as required. We also provide two weeks paid vacation and paid sick/personal time per year, with 3 weeks paid vacation after 2 years of full time employment. Min 5 yrs IT support experience in a corporate environment required.
